With 7km of pristine sandy beaches, pier and esplanade Ostend is known as the Queen of Belgian seaside resorts. In the warm summer evenings talk a gentle stroll through the little streets around Het Vissersplein where there are many cafes and brasseries to sit outside and enjoy a drink watching the world go by. If you prefer a livelier scene Van Iseghemlaan and the Langestraat are both lined with great restaurants and stylish bars or visit the world famous Kursaal Ostend.
Getting around Ostend couldn’t be easier: the Ramada Hotel is located opposite the Kursaal in the heart of the city centre with all the attractions moments’ walk. The coastal tram stops nearby opening up a wealth of exciting options to explore and Ostend rail station has an excellent service to Bruges and beyond.
