Ostend is famous for its sea-side esplanade, pier and 7km of fine-sandy beaches. With five beaches to choose from you’ll have no trouble finding the perfect spot. The beaches all have facilities including showers, cabins and deckchair hire and there are plenty of hops places to buy a bucket and spade or ice-cream.

Earth Explorer is on the east side of Ostend and can easily be reached by catching the tram to Oostend Weg op Vismijn.
Fantastic fun for all the family at Plopsaland theme park. Featuring rides for kids of all ages from the thrilling Anubis rollercoaster and SuperSplash to the more gentle Rabbits ride or explore the world of the gnomes in Plop’s Wood. The Coastal Tram takes you directly to Plopsaland’s entrance.
Catch Belgium’s most successful basketball team at a game in their home stadium. The Sleuyter Arena is just over 2km walk or tram ride along the seafront straight down Nieuwpoortsesteenweg. Fast moving and very exciting, BC Telenet Oostend’s games are very popular so book early!
